Meet the Riddara ECON and ECON L: Electric Pickups Built for Business

If the RD6 is an electric pickup that blends SUV-like comfort, the Riddara ECON is an electric pickup designed specifically for work. It debuted in Thailand at Motor Expo 2025 with a starting price of 739,000 baht, and in August 2026 the long-bed ECON L joined the lineup.

All models use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, known for their durability and thermal stability — ideal for vehicles used and charged every day

Practical cargo space

The standard ECON has a cargo bed 1,525 mm long, 1,450 mm wide and 540 mm deep, with a capacity of around 1,200 liters, while the ECON L extends this to 1,765 mm with around 1,350 liters. ECON specifications list a payload of 1,030 to 1,115 kg for the rear-wheel-drive version and 1,235 kg for the four-wheel drive, with towing capacities of 2,500 and 3,000 kg respectively. There is also a 70-liter front trunk and a 48-liter under-seat compartment in the rear for keeping tools or documents organized.

Charging and maintenance costs

All ECON models support 6.6 kW AC charging and up to 90 kW DC, charging from 30 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes. A tight turning circle of just 6.1 meters makes U-turns in narrow lanes or loading yards easy. The brand specifies a service interval of every 20,000 km at around 1,000 baht per visit — a very low cost compared with diesel pickups that need regular oil and filter changes.
